Jeanette Bridgeman is a presenter and Workplace Trainer specialising
in PC training and course development on a variety of software applications.
Jeanette's computer career began as a mainframe operator in 1982.
She migrated to the PC environment in 1984 as a Technical Support
Analyst. From there Jeanette began to deliver PC training courses.
Jeanette was a "preferred presenter" for WordPerfect
Pacific's Customer Training Centre and assisted their Technical
Support team on a part-time basis. She has also been involved in
special projects for Microsoft Australia and is a Product Specialist
in a number of Microsoft software applications.
In 1989 Jeanette presented several training courses to a Chinese
delegation visiting Australia (through the Australian International
Development Assistance Bureau) and was subsequently invited to China.
She presented courses in Lotus and WordPerfect to large audiences
at the China Iron and Steel University (Wuhan, China) over a six-week
period from early March to April 1989.
Jeanette has successfully completed "Train the Trainer",
"Learning to Learn", and has studied and implemented the
Colin Rose "System 2000" (Accelerated Learning) methods.
More recently she has been involved in the implementation and presentation
of the STAR (Skills Transfer and Retention) Learning System both
in Sydney and in Perth, Western Australia.
She has extensive experience in the analysis, design and development
of training materials and has developed and implemented training
for large organisations such as Channel 7, A. C. Nielsen and the
Sydney Harbour Casino among others.
