His project management experience lies in applications development, research and systems. He has been a project leader responsible for a variety of applications in engineering and allied areas. He has worked on several large projects, including those in the geotechnical applications area during the late 1970's and early 1980's, relating to the underground disposal and storage of nuclear waste materials in the United States. He has written several articles for prestigious international journals in the area of heat flow and rock mechanics. He has also contributed chapters to numerous publications and delivered papers at conferences around the world. Sam has authored and co-authored three management oriented software packages, including an educational project scheduling program, which has been distributed in the United States. Sam is a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science, an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, and a Ph.D. degree in Geo-Engineering.
