| Multiple Project Management
We all know that there are sufficient challenges in successfully managing a single project, bringing it in on time, on budget and with the quality required. How much more difficult then is it to be responsible for taking care of several projects simultaneously? This is not just proportionately more difficult. Managing a program of projects requires a different set of skills altogether.
Questions we ask include:
- Do you have a uniformity of approach for all projects?
- Are all projects documented properly?
- Have you implemented Cost Account management?
- Do you have sufficiently rich codes with which to conduct analysis?
- Are roles and responsibilities well understood by all?
- Do you have adequate means to trace problems at all levels of the program?
- Do you use traffic light reports or equivalent?
- Do you utilise a project information system with which to capture history?
