In October of 2004, the NSW Government committed all funded agencies within the government to the completion of a results and services plan document.

These documents depend on what is called Results and Services logic. Here logic describes the link between inputs and outputs, outputs and outcomes, effort and effect, means and ends, quanity and quality, in an attempt to focus thinking on achievements, benefits and their measure in determining the efficacy of such agencies adn their work.

Numerix has worked with this sort of logic for many years. We have developed a tool for the quantification of such ideas and have applied it in the assessment of achievement and progress in the context of projects and program management.
