Introduction to Project Management


Project management was once the province of Construction and Engineering. Now everyone is a project manager. Nurses, teachers, librarians, accountants, lawyers, administrators are among the many that have recognised the value that a project management approach brings to any type of work.

During the course you will learn concrete and practical skills and have some opportunity to apply them directly and immediately to your own projects. This ensures that you will learn in a relevant and meaningful context.

The course covers three of the competency units as prescribed the National Competency Standards for Project Management.
